Amidst today’s rising challenges and crises, one non-fungible token collection is challenging people to take the lead in the community. That NFT project is called Lions Not Sheep, and it’s quickly turning into a powerful movement in the metaverse.
Lions Not Sheep NFTs now circulate the blockchain ecosystem as this project continues to gain steam across the internet. The collection first broke out after its message started picking a massive following across the country— and even the world— because of its bold message to people: lead or be led. The project is more than just a collection of non-fungible tokens; it is a movement that challenges people to stand up for their rights and freedom amidst the growing turmoil that the United States is experiencing.
Lions Not Sheep boasts a collection of artworks featuring an avatar of lions dressed in rugged attire. Each mint has a character of its own, with each permutation expressing a message to the audience. “Stand up, step out and take responsibility for what is yours and the cards you have been dealt,” is what the NFT project’s website boldly declares. Lions Not Sheep aligns with alpha values and provides mint owners and the community the tools needed “to get your house in order.”
Before becoming a leading NFT project, Lions Not Sheep started as a grassroots organization in 2014. The ideology came to life after one of its founders, Sean Whalen, printed a t-shirt that challenged people to stop blindly following what the news and media channels were saying. Days after he first walked the streets with the shirt, requests to buy the shirt came in droves. That statement would turn into a full-blown business with a warehouse, half a dozen employees, over 200,000 orders, and 700,000 prints delivered to people who stand by the brand’s message and principles.
Today, that brand has come into the Web 3.0 space and looks to pioneer the FJB movement in the metaverse. The project is also co-founded by Greg W Anderson, known to many as “the Architect.” Anderson is an expert in business systems and platforms, helping over ninety businesses restructure for faster and more streamlined growth. He joins Sean on the journey to challenging current leadership and decisions that affect the country as the chief technology of the Lions Not Sheep NFT project. After Greg joined the company and movement, their community, “The Lions Den,” grew by almost double through engineering a better system.
By being a force of change in the community, Lions Not Sheep hopes to challenge today’s status quo, holding no restraints or apprehensions on standing by its convictions. Additionally, it hopes to pool in a community that would do the same and courageously disrupts what must be disrupted to improve other people’s lives.
The people behind Lions Not Sheep will also be organizing The Freeman’s World Fair as an extension of its greater mission. The event will happen sometime in mid-2023 and hopes to bring record-breaking crowds to celebrate freedom. It will feature several highlights, including a music festival, gun show, and motorcycle expo. Part of its effort will also be to celebrate and support military veterans by pledging 1% of mint royalties to programs for veterans.
