CyberPeace Foundation and Amity University (Lucknow Campus) jointly organized a two-day Hackathon, called White Hats: “Exploring cyber countermeasures”. The event was inaugurated by Brig. U K Chopra, Director of Amity University Lucknow Campus on March 16, 2023.

The chief guest of the event was Mr. Nitin Pandey and the guest speaker was Mr. Arya Tyagi. The Hackathon was designed to explore cyber countermeasures and to provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills. The participants were given targets to fulfill in Round 1 and the first 5 participants who completed Round 1 got selected for Round 2. In Round 2, the participants had to answer Nitin Pandey’s Quiz questions, which were random and related to OSINT practices, Incident Reporting Mechanisms, Cyber Ethics, Digital well-being, and so on. The Hackathon was led and organized by Dr. Rajiv Pandey, Senior Member IEEE, Senior Faculty CS/IT, Amity University.

Mr. Nitin Pandey is a Cyber Intelligence and Crime Investigator, Dark Web Analyst, Penetration Tester, Security Researcher, International Speaker, Author, Trainer, and Blogger who is currently working as a Senior Cyber Crime Consultant with Uttar Pradesh Cyber Crime at Police Headquarters Lucknow and also Coordinator of Uttar Pradesh at CyberPeace Foundation. He has more than one and a half decade’s experience in the field of Cyber Security Domain.

The winner of the Hackathon (Parth Nigam) was awarded airdrops and a trophy, while the runner-ups (Anant Tripathi and Syed Ali) were given gifts and an award. The event was a great success and the participants were highly motivated to explore cyber countermeasures. The event provided a platform for the participants to showcase their skills and knowledge in the field of cyber security. The event was also attended by experts from the field of cyber security, who provided valuable insights and guidance to the participants.
